My name is Albina and this is my story.
Born in Moscow, Russia, I discovered my love for art from an early age. My style of painting, known as ‘mystical abstraction,’ encompasses paste brush and palette knife work, subtle under-painting and graduating alterations in color.
My paintings are deliberately not specific to any place or time. I aim for viewers to develop and build their own personal connections with each piece. Whether my pictures remind you of something you have actually seen or invoke a particular emotion or memory, I aim to balance both: a sense of materialism and spiritualism through my abstraction.
